Learn from experts, connect with other parents, and discover the joys of breastfeeding at our free class.The class will be held in the administration conference room at Amberwell Atchison. The class is open to expectant parents planning their birth experience at Amberwell Atchison, regardless of their experience with breastfeeding
During the class, our own certified lactation counselor and trained maternal care staff will be covering a range of topics including:
How breastfeeding works
How to establish a healthy milk supply
How to know if your baby is getting enough milk
Breastfeeding positions
How partners can support the breastfeeding parent
Additional resources if you find you need more help
