About this Event


Join Joe's Palette for a meaningful morning of community, support, and awareness as we come together to honor breast cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and promote the importance of early detection and education.

This small scaled, family-friendly Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Lake Vista Park, 1401 62nd Ave S., St. Petersburg, FL 33705. Participants will complete 2.24 miles (two laps around the park) while showing support for those affected by breast cancer.

Whether you are a survivor, caregiver, family member, friend, or advocate, your presence helps raise awareness and strengthen our community's commitment to fighting breast cancer.

Starting Point- Left side of the Parking Lot ( If you are standing facing the center ) close to the entrance of the recreational center. Next to tree and Fence. Look out for individuals in Pink or White T shirts.


Distance Overview

The Run & Walk will be 2.24 miles total, consisting of two laps around Lake Vista Park. Participants are welcome to run or walk at their own pace, making this event suitable for all fitness levels.


Pace, Safety & Participation Statement

This event is at your own pace. Participants are encouraged to move at a speed that feels comfortable and safe for them.

Please bring your own water and any personal items needed to ensure a comfortable and safe walk or run. While water may be available on standby, hydration is not guaranteed, and all participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own form of hydration. No food will be provided.

If you have any health conditions or medical concerns that could be worsened by physical activity, please consult your doctor before attending and attempting this walk/run. For this community event, medical staff will not be on site. We ask all participants to pace themselves, be mindful of their personal limits, and participate in a way that feels safe and comfortable. Joe’s Palette is not responsible for any injuries that may occur.
