Mindy McNulty has been my dear friend since college. I met her when I worked at Schafer's Flowers. She is a Special Ed teacher at Parkwood Upjohn and was just getting ready to retire when she found out that she was diagnosed with breast cancer...Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She has gone through chemotherapy and is doing radiation treatments soon. Needless to say, the surgery and the treatments are not cheap. She can no longer work her part time job at the flower shop so she needs some help. You do not need to know Mindy personally to join us. If you want to share your story and how breast cancer has impacted you, we would love to laugh, cry and have FUN with you!
Art Bayou will donate 50% of the proceeds of this event to Mindy to help offset her treatment costs.
By purchasing a $20 minimum piece of pottery, your donation will go back to Mindy. Prices vary as we have over 400 pieces of pottery to choose from ranging in price from $20-$120. Cups start at $21, salad plates and figurines $25, bowls $22 etc. and can go upwards from there depending on style and size.
Please RSVP if you wish to join us as space is limited. Your $20 deposit will go towards your project total. If you only say that you're "going" or "interested", you aren't registered. You must pay a deposit (which goes toward the price of your pottery) and register online!
