Additional Details:
Dogs: Well-behaved, leashed dogs and service animals are welcome at the event! Please keep in mind that it can get quite busy, and we kindly ask that you clean up after your dog to help keep the event enjoyable for everyone.
Parking: There is a parking adjacent to the Terry Osborne Pavillion, and a larger lot closer to rugby field which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the event site. If needed, passengers who are unable to walk the full distance can be dropped off near the event site before the driver parks in the main lot.
Route: This trail is well-maintained and fully paved, making it suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, and other accessibility aids.

Family Fun Zone: Packed with activities everyone will love – with colourful face painting and kid’s activities
Snacks: Pre-packaged snacks and beverages will be available at the event for you to enjoy. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle to stay hydrated on the route!
Breakthrough T1D Walk is a high-energy, family-friendly event where you’ll meet others who "just get it.” Expect smiles, team spirit, and a whole lot of heart. The Walk is more than just an event – it's a celebration of the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community, where families, volunteers, and supporters come together to help make every day better for those living with type 1 diabetes.
