Or maybe you’re ready to stop living paycheck to paycheck and finally feel secure.

Breaking the Breadline is a 4-week healing and financial empowerment series designed to help you rewrite your money story.

Led by Ebony Carter, CBA — “The Financial Change Agent,” this guided journey blends emotional healing with real-world money tools. It’s not another budgeting class — it’s a supportive space to unlearn old patterns, release money shame, and rebuild financial confidence with structure each week.

Ebony serves as the Vice President of Minority Business Services and Director of the Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC), where she has spent years helping entrepreneurs and families access funding, strengthen financial habits, and build lasting stability. Her approach connects practical money management with the emotional side of finance — because real change begins when you understand both.

A proud Toledo native and University of Toledo graduate, Ebony brings professional expertise and personal experience together to help people break generational patterns, reclaim confidence, and begin building wealth that feels authentic and sustainable.
