We love our parents- most of them did the best they could with the resources they had. Somehow our little selves still needed more and that's okay! Today, our own childhood experiences, family dynamics, and inherited patterns shape the way we respond to our children without us even realizing it.
How do we balance honouring our parents and healing from them at the same time?
Join us for an afternoon of reflection, learning, and practical tools as we explore how to:
🌱 Recognize your specific generational parenting patterns
🌱 Gain insight on what healthy boundaries may look like for you
🌱 Figure out where the connection with your children is weakening
🌱 Find support with other sisters on the same journey as you
This is not about blaming our parents or striving for perfection. It's about understanding ourselves, seeking growth for the sake of Allāh, and creating homes filled with mercy, compassion, and emotional safety.
Whether you're a new mom, expecting, or have children of any age, you'll leave with practical insights and actionable strategies you can begin using right away in sha Allāh.
