What?
Hybrid public event organised by the European Network of Migrant Women to highlight solutions for better protection of migrant women’s fundamental rights in the EU. The event includes an overview of fundamntal rights of migrant in Italy, France and Portugal, a panel with the stakeholders and policy makers, the launch of the first EU case-law database on migrant women's fundamental rights and a discussion the report A Women’s Rights Perspective on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and discussion.
When?
On the 17th of October 2024 from 9.30am to 1pm CET, breakfast will be included.

Background:
The event concludes the EU-funded project FULFIL: Protecting and Promoting Fundamental Rights of Migrant Women in Europe. The project aimed to enhance capacity of legal practitioners in Europe, , with a focus on France, Italy, and Portugal to more effectively protect migrant women against fundamental rights breaches through application of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, creation of a case-law database and the promotion of legal analysis with a women’s rights perspective.
