Join us for Breaking' Up Christmas, an Appalachian tradition that marks the close of the Christmas season with music, movement, and community gathering.
On Old Christmas, January 6, we’re opening the space to musicians of all kinds — string bands, fiddlers, banjos, guitars — along with cloggers and traditional dancers. This is an open, come-as-you-are style evening rooted in shared heritage and storytelling through sound and motion.
This year’s gathering will also honor the life and spirit of Howard Matthews, whose love for music and community continues to shape this space.
