Food begins being served at 11am, after which we will have conversation, a call directly from the school, and space to share musical performance.
At the event, we will be asking for donations to fund the move to the north, where we will be building a permanent school. Suggested donations are 10 euro-50 euro.

About us:

Seeds of Hope Educational Tent is a grassroots initiative founded in July 2024 by Palestinian activist and artist Dima Abusbeitan, originally launched from Portugal.

With the early vision of Palestinian Gaza-based teacher Islam Hajaj and the leadership of our project manager, Monica Socarras, the initiative has grown into a vital sanctuary for 250 Palestinian students in Gaza. Seeds of Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States and is also accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Education.

As a community-driven initiative, we are committed to upholding children's fundamental rights to education, safety, and dignity. Our programs provide personalized education, creative expression, and psychological support to help students navigate the realities of displacement, violence, and occupation. Through healing circles, storytelling, and interactive learning, we create a space where children can process their experiences, express themselves freely, and reclaim their sense of possibility.

Seeds of Hope operates with transparency and integrity, ensuring that all resources directly support our mission. We collaborate with trusted partners and educators on the ground who share our commitment to justice and children's rights. Our leadership and team members undergo thorough vetting to uphold our values and safeguard the integrity of our work.

In the face of ongoing devastation and restrictions on basic freedoms, we strive not only to provide immediate relief but also to empower Palestinian children with the tools to reclaim their voices and envision a future rooted in justice and freedom.
