🌟 Welcome to our Brazilian Zouk Foundations course! Come and join this exciting dive into Brazilian Zouk - a Latin partner dance now sweeping the world with its infectious rhythms and fun movements! 🌟

❓ Who is this for?
Have you done a taster class and are ready to immerse yourself in the rhythm and vibe of Brazilian Zouk? This course is for you! 🥳
If you are a total dance beginner, this course is for you too!! We will be approaching the movements from foundations, with a heavy focus on rhythm, timing, and connection with our partner. No experience needed! 🤩
We strongly encourage those who have done beginner classes before (with us or elsewhere) to join us for this course - we believe a huge amount can be gained by experiencing foundational material several times and we’d love for you to see the benefit!

❓ What is Brazilian Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a beautiful partner dance from Brazil, with origins in Lambada and Brazilian ballroom dances, and with wide and varied influences ranging across R’n’B, hip hop, contemporary, and more! We can dance to a huge variety of music, with a diverse range of styles, making it one of the most versatile and creative partner dances! It really does offer something for everyone, so come along and try it out! 🎶

❓ Do I need a partner?
No partner required, we all rotate partners and dance with everyone! Although if you prefer, you are welcome to come as a pair and stay dancing together 💃

❓ What's next after this course?
Our Foundations course is made up of Module A and Module B. After completing A or B, you can progress to Basics 1, and we welcome you to repeat Foundations - several of our students do this many times to deepen their understanding whilst covering familiar movements. You can also do the other Foundations module before progressing to Basics, it's up to you! We can provide guidance if you aren't sure how quickly you want to move through the levels.

All courses booked with us include free entry to our weekly socials on Wednesday nights, from 8.30pm until 10pm. Then off to the pub for a drink and chat! 🥳
