Brazilian Carnaval 2026 Vancouver
Brazilian Carnaval 2026 is a full-day Brazilian cultural event in Vancouver, bringing together music, dance, food, and community in one immersive indoor venue.
Presented by Latincouver and the Brazilian Community Association of BC, this event offers an authentic Brazilian Carnaval experience designed for both Brazilian and non-Brazilian audiences. The program runs from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM and evolves throughout the day, offering cultural programming in the afternoon and a high-energy Brazilian party in the evening.
This is one of the largest Brazilian Carnaval celebrations in Western Canada.
What Is Brazilian Carnaval
Brazilian Carnaval is a major cultural celebration known for its music, dance, and community participation. It combines Afro-Brazilian rhythms, live performances, and social celebration. Brazilian Carnaval 2026 brings this tradition to Vancouver in a structured, accessible, and inclusive format.
What Attendees Will Experience
The event runs continuously from afternoon to night with different programming phases:
- Daytime cultural programming focused on Brazilian music, dance, and community
- Live DJs and performances featuring samba, axé, batucada, capoeira, and Brazilian rhythms
- A transition in the evening to a higher-energy party experience
- Dedicated areas that allow families and adult audiences to enjoy the event comfortably
All programming takes place inside the Croatian Cultural Centre.

Brazilian Carnaval 2026 features:

Music and performances increase in energy as the day progresses.
Food and Drinks
Brazilian food vendors will be on site offering traditional Brazilian dishes and snacks, including coxinha. Alcohol service will be available in designated areas and restricted to those of legal drinking age.

Dress Code
There is no mandatory dress code. Guests are encouraged to wear colorful, festive, or Brazilian-inspired outfits. Costumes are welcome but not required.
