A special themed event: Beyond Perfect, Pretty and Soft
Join us for a special themed Brave, Not Perfect event exploring the expectations placed on women and girls to be perfect, pretty, gentle and soft.
It can be soft, strong, loud, quiet, nurturing, ambitious, fierce, emotional, funny, bold, creative, messy, gentle, powerful and everything in between.
Even when women step away from external beauty standards, we can still find ourselves boxed into another kind of “perfect” , where inner beauty means always being compassionate, patient, selfless and emotionally available.
But the women we know are more than that.
They are layered, dynamic, strong, messy, brave and beautifully human.
Through storytelling, conversation and guided workshop activities, this event invites women to reflect on the standards we have inherited, the versions of ourselves we have hidden, and the many ways femininity can be expressed, reclaimed and celebrated.
This is a space to show up as you are.
Not polished.
Not perfect.
Not performing.
Just real women, sharing real stories, in a room that reminds us we do not have to shrink to be accepted.
