Bratislava Discovery: Castlemania

Regional exploration for Bratislava newcomers and first-timers.
After gathering at our meeting point near Bratislava's Old Town, we'll jump on local transit to reach the Danube/Morava confluence, where Devín castle looms tall and proud at on a strategic rock. Acknowledging its mighty presence from the in- and outside, we'll go look for a nearby Iron Curtain memorial and stroll through quaint and picturesque Devín village. A local bus then whisks us downstream into present-age where we sneak up Bratislava Castle on a hidden pathway to enjoy an unparalleled panorama over the capital.
Group lunch will be had at a local restaurant or food court with tasty, reasonably-priced delicacies.
Optional: In the evening, the group will meet again at the International Night Bratislava for networking, games and fun.
Total time: ~3.5 hours (castles & lunch)

Wear: Seasonal outfit, rain gear depending on weather
Price includes organization and friendly host. Food and drinks are at your own expense. Admission to Devín Castle included too.
