Brandywine Battlefield Degree 2025

Join Kennett Lodge No. 475 and the Mighty Fifth Masonic District for the Fourth Annual Brandywine Battlefield Degree on October 4, 2025. Brother George Washington's Inaugural Bible will be on display during the event. On April 30th, 1789 in New York City, Brother Washington was sworn as our first President using the Bible. The Bible is provided courtesy of the Brothers of St. John's Lodge No. 1 in New York.

Your ticket purchase entitles you to the following:

• Opportunity to view and have your picture taken with Brother George Washington's Bible
• Commemorative color ticket printed on thick paper stock
• Commemorative coin with event details
• Barbecue meal prepared on site with side dishes and dessert

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with tours of the Visitor Center and Washington's Headquarters for an additional cost of $8. Photos with Washington's Bible will begin at 5:00 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m. A Master Mason's Degree will be conferred promptly at 7:30 p.m.

There will cigars for the Brothers to enjoy at an additional cost or the Brothers may bring their own.

The cost of the event is only $45 ($49.87 total with fees).

This event is rain or shine and is open to Master Masons only. There will be seating provided for the attendees.
