About this Event

This one-woman show that explores the lives of influential African American women such as Maya Angelo, Rosa Parks, Mary McLeod Bethune, Marian Anderson, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Katherine Dunham, and Dorothy Dandridge. This is an inspirational drama that journeys through these women’s accomplishments and failures to find one woman’s true identity.  The show is written and performed by Tia Arline Madison.
