Branch Out Cinema Presents... A Fistful of Dollars (1964)
About this Event
“In his own way he is, perhaps, the most dangerous man who ever lived!”
For our second edition of Branch Out Cinema, we’ll be screening A Fistful of Dollars (1964) directed by Sergio Leone! 💰
The ORIGINAL Spaghetti western, this film introduces the world to Clint Eastwood’s “man with no name”... a revolver-wielding drifter who sets two feuding groups against each other for his own gain. It began life as an unofficial remake of Akira Kurosawa’s samurai film “Yojimbo”, but would have a huge effect on the European film industry, leading to films such as Django and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
It’s violent, gritty and an explosion of suspense in the old west.
If you’ve never seen it before, now’s your chance! We’ll be screening it for free so you’ve got nothing to lose.
Tickets must be reserved in advance of the screening! 🎟️
Trigger Warnings can also be found below, it’s got its gnarly moments!
