Branch Leadership Summit
About this Event
This isn't your typical leadership conference
We've all been to conferences where you spend the day listening to presentations, scribbling down a few notes, and leaving with a notebook full of ideas but very little opportunity to explore how they apply to your own challenges.
The Branch Leadership Summit is different.
We've designed the day to be as much about the conversations in the room as the speakers on the stage.
Our morning sessions will bring together experienced technology leaders to share their perspectives on some of the biggest challenges facing our profession today, from leading through organisational change and building strong engineering cultures, to navigating AI, remote leadership and influencing at board level.
But the real heart of the summit begins after lunch.
The afternoon is dedicated to collaborative discussion through a series of facilitated panel sessions and roundtables. Rather than sitting back and listening, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your own experiences, ask questions, challenge ideas and learn directly from peers who are tackling many of the same leadership challenges.
Whether you're wrestling with organisational change, trying to influence executive stakeholders, building high-performing teams, or deciding how best to introduce AI into your organisation, these sessions are designed to create honest, practical conversations between people who genuinely understand the role.
You'll leave with far more than a list of ideas. You'll leave with different perspectives, practical approaches you've learned from fellow leaders, and new relationships with people you can continue those conversations with long after the summit has finished.
Throughout the day we'll be exploring some of the biggest questions facing technology leaders today, including:
- How do you create a culture that can adapt to constant change without burning people out?
- How do you lead transformation when your team is already balancing competing priorities?
- How do you build high-performing teams when they're distributed across different locations and ways of working?
- Is your organisation leading with AI, or simply reacting to it? And how do you ensure AI becomes an advantage rather than another source of pressure?
- How do you communicate technology strategy, risk and opportunity in a way that resonates with boards and executive stakeholders?
These themes will be explored through keynote sessions in the morning before becoming the focus of our afternoon discussions, giving you the opportunity not only to hear different perspectives, but to share your own experiences, challenge ideas, and learn directly from other leaders facing the same issues.
Built around conversation, not presentations
One of the reasons Branch has grown into such a strong community is because our members don't come simply to consume content.
They come to contribute.
Every Branch event is shaped by the experiences of the people in the room. We believe the best leadership conversations happen when experienced people are prepared to be open about what's working, what's proving difficult, and what they've learned along the way.
The Leadership Summit has been built around that same philosophy.
You'll hear from experienced speakers, but you'll also spend time around the table with other technology leaders discussing real situations, sharing ideas, offering advice and learning from one another.
Technology leadership can often feel surprisingly lonely. This summit is designed to remind you that it doesn't have to be.

Who should attend?
The Branch Leadership Summit has been created for people who lead technology teams and shape technology strategy.
Whether you're a CTO, CIO, VP of Engineering, Technology Director, Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Product or Technology Leader, you'll find yourself surrounded by people who understand the unique opportunities and challenges that come with leading modern technology organisations.
If you're responsible for helping your team navigate change, influencing senior stakeholders, building engineering culture or preparing your organisation for what's next, you'll be in good company.
A note on attendance
The Branch Leadership Summit has been created as a peer community for senior technology leaders.
To protect the openness of discussions and the experience for attendees, this event is not open to recruiters, sales representatives or business development professionals attending to generate leads or sell services.
If you register for the event in one of these capacities, your booking may be cancelled and entry refused without refund.
We want attendees to feel comfortable sharing challenges, asking difficult questions and having honest conversations with peers in a trusted environment.
