Brampton Tech Talks: AI for Good: Inclusive Innovation in Practice
About this Event
AI is reshaping how we learn, work, and care for each other. But too often, the people who stand to benefit most are left out of the design process.
This panel brings together three Brampton-connected leaders who are using technology to support neurodivergent youth, families, and people with disabilities. Together, they'll share how lived experience, psychology, and accessibility-first design can lead to AI that is more useful, more ethical, and more human.
What You'll Learn
● How AI tools are being designed to support neurodivergent children and their caregivers
● What accessibility-first innovation looks like in education, employment, and public life
● How founders turn lived experience into products and programs that scale
● Practical ways to build inclusion into your own startup, team, or organization

Speaker: Zain Buri, Founder of Seva
Zain Bari is the Founder and CEO of Seva Intelligence, an AI-powered care companion built for families raising neurodivergent children. Her career spans 18+ years across technology, financial services, international development, and mental health, with leadership roles at Siemens, IFC, and Canada Life. At Siemens, she led a major merger integration recognized as a global best practice and was fast-tracked toward country leadership as a result.
Zain holds both an MA in Counselling Psychology and an MSc from the London School of Economics & Political Science. She is a psychotherapist in training and complements that role as a Harvard Medical School-certified health and wellness coach.
As a mother and caregiver, Zain knows the invisible mental load these families carry, because she's carried it herself. Seva is the tool she wishes she'd had on the hardest nights, built from that same intersection of lived experience, psychology, and technology, and from one belief: systems should support families, not wear them down.
