Brake for Breakfast is a statewide drive-thru event designed to make cancer prevention easy, accessible and engaging for all Nebraskans. Great Plains Health is proud to host the North Platte event in partnership with Lincoln County Extension, bringing trusted health resources closer to home for the people of western Nebraska.Volunteers from Great Plains Health, Lincoln County Extension and West Central District Health Department will hand you a hot Chick-fil-A breakfast and a personalized checklist showing which cancer screenings may be right for you — all without ever leaving your car. Cancer screenings save lives, and this is a quick, easy and delicious way to take a step toward yours.
