NAMI Washington is proud to present the Brainpower Showcase, an evening of stories, creativity & connection, to bring us together when human connection is the medicine that truly makes us all stronger.
The Supporter Shindig is a chance to unwind and mingle with mental health advocates and supporters, while enjoying food and drink by Cameron Catering. Doors for the Shindig open at 5:30 pm, with the festivity in full swing by 5:45 pm. You’ll be welcomed by Jonathan Swift of Two Man Productions and soothed by live music as you connect. We’ll get you into your seats for the Show at 6:45!
General Admission Show begins at 7 pm, with a welcome from NAMI Washington staff and dives into song, story, and more. There will be a brief Intermission, and lingering in the library or Otto Bar area after the Show is encouraged! Beer, wine, and bubbly will be available for sale to all Show attendees (with proper ID for alcohol).
Storytellers Janee J. Baugher, Michael Robertson, and Robin Hinz will offer the personal stories, while artists with a passion for mental health and wellbeing will bring the music, poetry, and more.
Expect an engaging, interactive, inspiring, and refreshingly human event, where you can meet people who are passionate about grassroots mental health and community resilience, and wellbeing.
