About this Event
This training, hosted by the Tri-County Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative and provided by Doug Gomez, PhD, of the Center on Brain Injury Research and Training, will cover the types of brain injury along with typical symptoms and causes. Dr. Gomez will discuss examples of populations with increased risk of brain injury and information on the benefits of brain injury screening and accommodations. His presentation will conclude with a discussion of examples of common misnomers related to how to work with folks with brain injury as a mental health clinician.
