Brain health and wellness affect everyone — but are we truly taking care of our brains to promote cognitive function, emotional wellness, and long-term health?
Join Lauren Ewing, seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist and Evergreen Certified Dementia Care Specialist, for an educational workshop focused on protecting your brain and promoting cognitive well-being throughout the lifespan.
*ALL are welcome to attend — not just dementia caregivers. However, dementia caregivers are especially encouraged to attend, as we will discuss protecting your own brain health while navigating the daily stressors of caregiving.*
Topics will include:
• Cognitive skills required for basic and complex daily living
• Habits to build into daily and weekly routines to maximize cognitive function
• Discussion on the safe use of technology and its impact on our cognitive abilities
• How supporting brain health earlier in life may help reduce the risk of cognitive impairment with age
• Practical ways to care for your own cognitive wellness amidst the demands of everyday life
This guided workshop is appropriate for adults of all ages!
Cost: $30/person
RSVP to Lauren Ewing via call/text at 317-586-8089 or email at [email protected].
