Braille & Brew 2026

Louisiana Association for the Blind is excited to announce our 4th Annual Braille & Brew Fundraiser. This guided, immersive experience will take place on June 4th, 2026, at The Chef's Table in Bossier. Participants will wear blindfolds and/or vision simulating eye glasses while sipping creative craft beers and beverages and tasting aromatic and texturally complex foods. Funds raised at Braille & Brew will support our mission to improve the quality of life for people who are blind through training, services, and employment.

Social Hour starting at 5:00pm, event begins at 6:00pm.

Info: Kick off Braille & Brew with an hour of mixing, mingling, and interactive fun before the main event begins! Guests will have the opportunity to browse raffle prizes, purchase raffle tickets, and connect with others in the community.

Our Community Services Division will also be on-site showcasing incredible assistive technology devices and leading interactive activities that give guests a hands-on look at tools that empower independence for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Info: Guests will enjoy expertly paired bites from local favorites including Seventh Tap Brewing, BeauxJax, Frozen Pirogue, and Sugar Sheaux alongside incredible brews from Seventh Tap.

Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy raffles, entertainment, and hands-on activities while learning more about the mission of Louisiana Association for the Blind and the life-changing services we provide.
