Braiding Camp for Kids & Teens

Join Skillz It Up at our exciting five-day camp!

Your child will learn the basics of braids and extension braiding through a five-session camp that aims to help participants dive into learning a new skill, develop life skills, and connect with others along the way.

We have created a space where participants can learn together, support one another, and take pride in their hands-on work.

💬 Why learn braiding? It's a positive way for your child to express themself creatively. By learning these skills, families can save thousands of dollars over time by caring for their own hair. Braiding can also become a source of supplemental income or even a future career.

Campers will learn:

📝How to prep the hair for braiding and the proper tools and supplies to use

🎀 Parting & Sectioning

🎀 How to properly care for hair before, during, and after it is braided

📝How to create a braid

📝How to add extensions to the hair

All supplies and a daily lunch are provided.

This is a Level I Beginners Camp.

Ages 8 to 17 are welcome to attend!
