Braided River hails from the Valley of Giant Cabbages, otherwise known as Palmer, Alaska, where the silty, meandering Matanuska River inspired the band’s name. In addition to its soulful-to-rambunctious originals, Braided River plays rocky, bluesy, Tedeschi tunes, plus a little Leonard Cohen and a dash of Johnny Cash with a Jerry Garcia twist. Alcohol will be served at this event, so everyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
