A Bragolin a holland dark wave/post-punk színtér markáns képviselője, Edwin van der Velde vezetésével. Zenéjében a ’80-as évek Bass VI gitárhangzása, a ’60-as és ’70-es évek orgonái, valamint a ’90-es évek shoegaze világa találkozik modern elektronikus elemekkel. Mindezt sötét, filmszerű, posztapokaliptikus atmoszféra lengi körül. A 2018-as debütáló album, az I Saw Nothing Good So I Left hozta meg a nemzetközi ismertséget, rajta az Into Those Woods című dallal, amely mára a dark wave klubok egyik modern klasszikusává vált. A Bragolin azóta a gothic és dark wave színtér állandó szereplője. 2026-ban érkezett új albumuk, az I Don’t Like What It Does To Me, amely tovább mélyíti a zenekar jellegzetes világát: gazdag analóg hangzások, atmoszférikus textúrák és kísérleti hangok találkozása. Az élő felállásban Edwin van der Velde mellett Edwin Daatselaar szintetizátoron csatlakozik a projekthez.

Bragolin is one of the most exciting acts in the Dutch dark wave/post-punk scene, led by Edwin van der Velde. Their sound blends the Bass VI guitar tones of the ’80s, the organs of the ’60s and ’70s, and the shoegaze textures of the ’90s with modern electronic elements, all wrapped in a dark, cinematic, post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Their 2018 debut album, I Saw Nothing Good So I Left, brought international recognition, featuring the track Into Those Woods, which has since become a modern dark wave dance floor classic. Since then, Bragolin has established itself as a constant presence in the gothic and dark wave scene. In 2026, the band released their new album I Don’t Like What It Does To Me, further expanding their signature universe with rich analogue sounds, atmospheric textures, and experimental elements. The current live lineup features Edwin van der Velde alongside Edwin Daatselaar on synthesizers.

Carrellee az amerikai ethereal dark wave egyik izgalmas új hangja, a wisconsini Madisonból. 2024-ben és 2025-ben az IAMX turnézó csapatának tagjaként járta Európát és Észak-Amerikát vokalistaként és szintetizátorosként. Második albumát a német Young & Cold Records adta ki; a lemezt Maurizio Baggio (Boy Harsher, Nuovo Testamento, The Soft Moon) keverte, a masterelést pedig Josh Bonati (Slowdive, Drab Majesty) készítette. Hangzását a kritikusok egyszerre jellemezték „baljósan vonzóként” és „melankolikus, mégis vibráló elektronikával átszőtt” világként. In 2024 and 2025, she toured across Europe and North America as a vocalist and synthesizer player with IAMX. Her second album was released by Germany's Young & Cold Records, mixed by Maurizio Baggio (Boy Harsher, Nuovo Testamento, The Soft Moon) and mastered by Josh Bonati (Slowdive, Drab Majesty). Critics have described her sound as both "hauntingly alluring" and "a melancholic yet vibrant electronic landscape." Her debut album, Scale of Dreams, was released via Negative Gain Productions. Among her latest projects is a guest appearance on Bragolin's 2026 album. Carrellee has performed at festivals including Coldwaves, Verboden, Terminus, and Summerfest, and in autumn 2026 she will join Bragolin on their European tour.
