Bradlaugh Fields Guided Bat Walk

Join Kingsthorpe Parish Council Climate Change and Environment Committee and Juliette, from Nene Valley Bat Group, for a fun in-person bat walk at the beautiful Bradlaugh Fields. Explore the outdoors as dusk falls and discover the fascinating world of bats in their natural habitat. Perfect for nature lovers and families keen to experience wildlife up close.
See you there! There is on road parking at the multiple entrances on Newnham Road, Fulford Drive, Spinney Hill Road, etc. Arrive at Bradlaugh Fields Barn for 7.15pm, sunset is about 7.30pm so we will have a chat first before heading off for a walk. Please ensure suitable clothes and footwear are worn as it can get muddy, and don't forget to bring a torch. Do let us know if you have any specific medical needs when you arrive. Should the weather be unsuitable, the event will be cancelled, please look out on social media. Photographs will be taken at this event to share online, please let the organiser know on the day if you would not like to feature in these.
Juliette is a volunteer with the Nene Valley Bat Group, as well as working for the Wildlife Trust. The Nene Valley Bat Group is a newly formed bat group in Northamptonshire and partner group of Bat Conservation Trust. The Nene Valley Bat Group arranges talks and bat walks, promotes bat conservation and habitat monitoring across Northamptonshire and any donations raised are used to aid these projects. Juliette will be collecting voluntary donations on the night so please contribute if you can.
