About this Event
Compak Sporting is an international clay shooting discipline of French origin, developed in 1989 and governed by FITASC in Paris. Often mistaken for English 5-stand, it is a distinct format with its own rules for shooting cages, platforms, positions, and target presentations. It is a game that will assist shooters of all skill levels with improving their game and the love of shotgun.
There are five shooting stands set across the field, with shooters rotating through each position.
A round consists of 25 targets - five per stand - presented as:
• Five singles
• Three singles and one double (on report or simultaneous)
• One single and two doubles (on report or simultaneous)
A variety of target types will be presented, including standard, rabbit, mini, and battue.
For this event Dave Trudeau, master shooter and NSCA instructor, has designed a fun but challenging course to suit all skill levels. Limited to 25 shooters – event expected to sell out.
RSVP is required. Registration using Eventbrite is $24 online or $20 when completing directly with BSC Program Director Jack Flynn at (401) 569-3731 (no online service fee). ***Trap Field warm-up available with $5 for10 donation.
