About this Event

What is Family Constellations: Family Constellations is also known as Systemic Constellations. This is an experiential (sensing and feeling) process that reaches into the underlying impulses that can hold you back in your life that may be inherited from your family.

While we receive lots of good things from our families, we are also vulnerable to carrying transgenerational burdens, emotions, beliefs and traumas that may inhibit our potential to make the most of ourselves and our relationships. Family Constellations allows you not only to see and feel the dynamic you are caught up in, but also find better solutions with the ability to free yourself in a way that no other process can. This takes place in a safe brief process that will take about an hour and aims to help you find change and a new perspective to support you in your life.

Constellations offer a holding space for love, compassion and humanity, through acknowledging reality, re-affirms place, ancestry, connection and belonging in life. This can help you in letting go of burdens and patterns of behaviour that may hold you back. The work aims to help you to arrive into yourself and fulfil your potential as a human, partner, parent, child, member of the community with a healthy pride and humility.

What to expect: In the workshop we will sit in a circle with a group of up to 12 people. The facilitator will offer individuals to take turns in looking at their own issue. This is done by choosing group members as representatives for the people involved in your situation. These are placed spatially from each other. When this takes place, representatives start to feel sensations within their bodies that allow words to spoken and feelings and movements to occur under careful guidance of the facilitator.
