Our next recruit is on January 29th at 7pm at Ellenton Sports & Ice Complex. Did you purchase skates and are looking for a place to learn how to use them? Are you in need of social time but unsure if you want to commit to skating? Do you love rules and regulations and need to channel your Type A personality into something productive? We have so many places for you in our league!We are looking for committed skaters, refs, and volunteers! All genders and abilities welcome! 18+ is our only requirement. Even if you are unsure and just want info, come out, meet the team, and learn all about roller derby at Ellenton Sports & Ice Complex.
FAQs
• We have a LIMITED amount of gear available to borrow. All gear will be first come, first serve. If you have any gear, even partial gear, bring it with to the recruit. We will do our best to fit people with what we have at the event.
• All genders and ability levels welcome! If you’ve never skated before, we teach you everything you need to know! 18+ is required.
• We have a New Skater FAQ on our website that we highly recommend checking out prior to the recruit. If you have any specific questions, please ask us in this event and we will get back to you ASAP!
