Come celebrate the life of our beloved friend, Brad Searl. Share in the music he loved and the music he created, with the people he loved as performers. Former members of Punishment (Chris Taggart, Tommy Blacknine and Karl Anderson) will be joined by Eric Meloche to pay tribute to the music of Punishment. One of Brad's near lifelong friends, Dan Connor Rallon, will then take the stage with some of the music he and Brad loved to share. Then, former members of Cemetery of Strangers(Steve Grimes, Steven Marinucci, Dwayne Lau and Karl Anderson) will perform some of Brad's last recordings, with special guest vocalist Chaz Coates-Butcher. Gord Prior of Blu Bones will perform with Steve Georgakopoulos of Alive for a couple of songs in Brad's honour. Lastly, Darren James Smith will take to the stage with Bob Frenette, Chris Brown and Pat Carrano to close out the show as only Darren can. And who knows what else will happen or who else will appear?There will also be opportunities to donate to to the family through admission, t-shirts and 50/50 draw, as well as other fundraising items.
This is an all ages event. Doors open at 5, show begins at 6.
There is a kitchen at Rockpile for those wanting to eat as well.
