Join us for a magical evening of creativity, community & crafting as we help create a stunning life-size fairy for this summer’s Cosby Yarn Bomb!
We’re so excited to be collaborating with the amazing Bracrafts, a wonderful project that transforms donated bras into beautiful handmade creations while raising awareness & funds for breast cancer charities 💗
✂️ During this workshop we’ll be helping turn donated bras into a beautiful fairy skirt using sewing, textiles & creativity!

🪡 Basic sewing skills required
👥 Age 13+ (children to be accompanied by an adult)
✂️ Materials & equipment provided
🚗 Parking available at Cosby Village Hall
Please note: this is not a taught session. Just bring yourself, your sewing skills & your community spirit!
🌸 About Bracrafts 🌸
Founded by Angela Higson in 2023, Bracrafts began after discovering many charity shops are unable to accept bras. Instead of sending them to landfill, Angela began transforming them into creative handmade items to raise money for breast cancer charities.
Since then, Bracrafts has raised over £23,000 for breast cancer causes & recycling initiatives, with support from celebrities including Emma Thompson & Lorraine Kelly! 🌟

We’re also collecting donations of unwanted bras for the fairy project!

✔ Clean & in good condition please
Bras unsuitable for crafting are sent to Against Breast Cancer to help fund vital research, while others are reused to support women in Africa 💖
