Louison House invites you to celebrate the opening of our new Bracewell Youth Housing Project at 111 Bracewell Ave., North Adams, MA, on September 11, 2025, from 3:00-6:00 p.m.! In July, we began moving our youth friends and neighbors into the building, but we would like to invite you to the house’s official opening in September. This event will honor the funders, our building team, our staff and board of directors, our community partners, the local community, and all who supported this important project.
The event will consist of a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bracewell from 3:00-4:00 p.m., and an open house with food and tours of our housing projects, including 11 Bracewell Avenue in North Adams, 149 Church Street in North Adams, and 395 Old Columbia Street in Adams from 4:00-6:00 p.m. There will be light refreshments at each site, including special hot dogs and hamburgers cooked by our advisory council. We will be accepting donations for the Louison House Advisory Council that will go towards a resident benefit project. Raffle tickets will be available at one of the open houses, with proceeds also going toward the council’s resident benefit project.
As always, we are grateful for the support of this community. We’ve continued to watch as you show up for your neighbors, and for Louison House as an organization. Your commitment to supporting our friends in this community is always an inspiration. We’re looking forward to seeing you this September!
