BPEC Water Disinfection & Legionella

The aim of this course is to enable delegates to state the main legislative and guidance relative to the control of legionella.
About this Event

This courses covers the following:

• Main legislative and guidance documents relative to the control of Legionnaire's disease and disinfection.
• Basic properties of water
• What is Legionnaire's disease and the Legionella bacteria?
• Carrying out a risk assessment of a cold and hot water system in a building

Candidates will be required to show evidence of:

• SVQ Level 3 in plumbing or heating engineering or
• Proof of experience in plumbing/heating engineering

You are required to bring with you to the course:

• Photo ID
• 2 x Passport photos
