Box Energy Daz Quayle DJ/ being live set! plus Kirstie & Howie

In our Escape the festival Box energy August edition, Daz brings decades of deep electro, acid and machine-driven sounds to the club for a rare appearance from a true underground innovator,with support from long time collaborator being (live) aka weedjs. ��Daz Quayle is an electronic music original, founder of the influential SCSI-AV label and a driving force behind projects including Black Labs and Scarletron alongside Carl Finlow.
�SCSI-AV became home to an extraordinary roster of underground talent, with releases from Carl Finlow under his Silicon Scally moniker, Detroit’s Ultradyne, the infamous anonymous Lost Trax project and The Wee DJs, alongside the highly limited Distorto imprint.�
Daz has also worked with Andrea Parker (Touchin’ Bass) on several releases, including the Daphne Oram collaboration celebrating the pioneering legacy of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Day has also released music via labels: Modern love, Klang Elektronik, Touchin bass, Aperture and Ralph Lawson’s 20/20 Vision.��His live performances as part of Broken Bone are legendary—unpredictable, completely off the wall and unlike anything else.

During the 90's being released a series of records on Andrew Weatherall's Special Emissions label and also on the Hamburg based Spacefrog label.
More recently in 2021 they realised an album, the last ever release on Firecracker Recordings Label, of music previously abandoned on Dat tapes, Broxburn Funk, on double 12" vinyl.�
Another inspired release was put together by Apartment Recordings in 2022, with the album 'there'. Restored and preserved, then released on tape.
Recent releases continue the theme of exploration of sound, designed to be used for any situation.�
