The Bows,Strings & Contentment Orchestra will perform a concert titled “Music of Europe” on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at The Grand Event Center in Northfield. Dining hours will be 5-7pm and the concert will begin at 6pm. The concert will feature favorite selections from Bach to the Beatles. The pieces have been chosen to highlight musical modes found in western music composition from Dorian to Ionian. Special guest artists joining the orchestra will be Randall Ferguson, Laura O’Connor, and Peter Dodge.
The conductor of Bows, Strings, & Contentment Orchestra is Laura Geissler and the orchestra’s musical arranger is Laurie Stegner.
The concert is free and family-friendly. Contributions to the orchestra will be accepted as well.
