We’re back for our first market of 2026.

Last year our visitors were treated to the most incredible food from all our wonderful independent traders, which was lovingly consumed by the warmest, friendliest people we ever could have wished for.

We transformed Mettle Works, an empty industrial warehouse, into an inviting. vibrant food hall that was filled with the sights, smells and sounds of pure joy. Our market provided an atmosphere that we believe you won’t find anywhere else in Essex.

But 2025 was just the start. We have lots of plans for 2026 to make our markets better and more enjoyable for everyone who steps inside.

So, with all that being said….. who wants to join us in February?

Expect the same carefully curated selection of local independent traders, ready to delight you with their delicious street food, inspired by cuisines from all around the world. More refreshing drinks from Chelmsford’s micro-breweries and artisan coffee roasters and the perfect complimentary soundtrack to make your visit extra special.

Our list of vendors will be announced soon, and we’ll be making some improvements that we hope will make your visit even more special.
