The Bowie Senior Bonsai Club is open to people in and around Bowie Maryland who join the Bowie Senior Center. We have newbies, experienced, and just those who are interested in learning more attending.
Bonsai (pronounced bone sigh) is about growing "a tree in a pot". These are not special dwarf species, but trees that could grow to normal size without care and training. Some species make nicer bonsai than others.
Want to learn more? Come to our monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month 2-4. We generally do not meet November - March as many of the trees are dormant during winter months.
