Place not secured until payment received. Any payments received not via F&F will be refunded and place not confirmed.
When sending payment please include Name, Category entered and T-shirt size. No refunds for withdrawal and no name changes.
Prizes and trophies for top 3 in each category.
Registration at 9AM with athlete brief at 9.30AM and first event start at 10:00AM.
Must be first comp to qualify as beginner status
The events will run as:- (all weights and events subject to change)
Event 1 – Deadlift for reps (Trump Option) - 60sec time limit.
Trump deadlift for reps - two weight options will be laid out for the competitor, with the aim to get as many reps in 60 seconds as possible. Any reps on the heavier option beats the lighter option. Athletes can drop down weight but not move back up again. Any bounced or touch and go reps will be disallowed. Any hitching etc is fine we just want a good solid lockout. Straps, chalk allowed, no suits, oil
Beginners Women – 80kg or 100kg
Novice Women – 110kg or 130kg
Beginners Men – 140kg or 160kg
Novice Men – 160kg or 200kg
Event 2 – Axle Floor To Overhead- Max reps in 60secs.
Athletes must wait for down command for rep to count. No bounced reps will count. Sleeves, wrist wraps allowed, no grip tops.
Beginners Women – 40kg
Novice Women – 50kg
Beginners Men – 70kg
Novice Men – 90kg
Event 3 – Yoke into Farmers Carry – 15m Yoke carry into 15m Farmer carry.
Grip tops, sleeves, wraps belts, chalk allowed. No straps, tacky of any kind or liquid chalk. 90secs max time
Beginners Women – 120kg to 45kg
Novice Women – 160kg to 55kg
Beginners Men – 170kg to 75kg
Novice Men – 200kg to 85kg
Event 4 – Hammer hold – Timed hold.
Weight held in front of the athlete, athlete must have straight arms. No tacky of any kind, no liquid chalk, wraps and chalk allowed
Beginners Women – 10kg
Novice Women – 12.5kg
Beginners Men – 12.5kg
Novice Men – 15kg
Event 5 – Sandbag Steeple chase.
Two bags must be taken down a 20m course, loaded over a steeple in the middle and then taken to the endzone. The first bag must be fully completed before running back to bag number 2 all within a 90 second time limit. Bags can be lifted in any way, bags must be fully over the line. No grip tops or tacky of any kind. Chalk, wraps, gloves, belts allowed.
Beginners Women – 40kg to 40kg
Novice Women – 40kg to 60kg
Beginners Men – 60kg to 80kg
Novice Men – 80kg to 100kg
