Celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month inside the Barrel Room at Hotel Paso Del Norte with an intimate bourbon and cookout experience designed for only fourteen guests. The Bourbon Heritage Cookout Table brings together Pappy pours, elevated cookout bites, and a relaxed social atmosphere that welcomes both bourbon newcomers and seasoned fans.
Sommelier Antonio leads the tasting and guides guests through four expressions of Pappy. Each pour is arranged in a progression that moves from classic sweetness and soft oak into deeper barrel richness, spice, and caramel finish. Antonio brings heritage notes, storytelling, and an easygoing style that makes the experience fun and interactive.
Every bourbon is paired with a small bite inspired by modern American cookout flavors. All food is created by Executive Chef Andrés Padilla, a Michelin recognized chef who has also received honors from the James Beard Foundation. His approach blends refined technique with bold Southwestern creativity, resulting in pairings that feel familiar yet elevated.
Guests receive a printed Bourbon Flavor Map that highlights corn, caramel, spice, oak, smoke, vanilla, and finish. The map helps guests follow the tasting journey and encourages conversation around the table.
