Bottled-in-Bond Tasting with Heaven Hill - OTR, Cincinnati

Join us at Wiseguy Lounge OTR for a guided tasting exploring the history and importance of Bottled-in-Bond whiskey — one of the most respected designations in American whiskey.

Hosted in partnership with Heaven Hill Distillery, this educational tasting will guide guests through four classic Bottled-in-Bond expressions while exploring the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and what makes these whiskeys unique.

Guests will also enjoy a slice of Goodfellas pizza and a breadstick during the event.

Following the tasting, Bernie Lubbers will host a certification ceremony officially recognizing Wiseguy Lounge OTR as a Certified Bonded Premise.

This designation celebrates bars committed to educating guests about Bottled-in-Bond whiskey and honoring the heritage of American bourbon.

Known as “The Whiskey Professor,” Bernie Lubbers has been part of the modern renaissance of Kentucky bourbon.

Bernie began his whiskey career in 2005, working with Fred Noe at Jim Beam, later joining the family-owned Heaven Hill Distillery in 2012 alongside the legendary Parker Beam. Today, he serves as Whiskey Ambassador Emeritus for Heaven Hill.
