Botanical Watercolour Workshop with Kate Hall

Botanical Watercolour Workshop 10am-12pm, Saturday 12th April 2025.

After the success of last year's Botanical Watercolour Workshop, we're delighted to welcome Kate back to Breezy Knees this Spring.

From Kate: My workshops provide students with the opportunity to learn watercolour painting techniques in serene settings that promote mindfulness and relaxation. You will explore the basic principles of colour mixing, blending and brush strokes before embarking on a collection of botanical paintings inspired by the seasons. Live painting demonstrations and illustrated worksheets ensure that you will acquire skills that can be applied when practising painting at home. Beginners and more experienced artists are welcome and all materials will be provided.

This workshop will take place in the Breezy Teas cafe building (wheelchair accessible), where your group will have exclusive use of the space under Kate's instruction. All materials, as well as tea and coffee provided. All you need is some enthusiasm!

nB. The gardens will be closed at this time (as they open annually on the 1st May).
