Botanical Illustration Workshop: Fundraiser for Palestinian Biodiversity

Join us for a 2-hr workshop fundraising for the Palestine Institute of Biodiversity and Sustainability, held at Turnsol Books on Oct. 22nd from 6pm-8pm.

Tickets/fundraiser donations will be on a sliding scale from $10-50, and all donations will be matched by an external donor!

Participants will be guided through watercolor techniques to create their own original botanical illustration, and then use materials from Palestinian poetry, plant encyclopedias, and art books to create multi-media collages to take home and enjoy.

The workshop will be hosted by Haidee Clauer and Natalie Rovello. Haidee is a local activist and botanic illustrator, and Natalie is an art history academic.
