This Saturday - 11 October - is #ComeBackDay!
Join us for a free 5km parkrun or parkwalk at your own pace in the beautiful and secure Pretoria Botanical Gardens!
- This event is run by volunteers, so please consider emailing us if you'd like to volunteer in order to keep parkrun going!
- Remember to bring your barcode, own water, hat and sunscreen/ warm jacket (register on www.parkrun.co.za to get your barcode)
EVENT STARTS AT 8am - please arrive early to avoid hassles. The Botanical gardens closes their gates to park runners at 8am.
- PARKING: Parking inside the botanical gardens is limited, so please try to arrive before 7:45am - NO PARKING IN THE SERVICE ROAD OUTSIDE THE MAIN GATE!
Please adhere to the No Parking signs. Cars parked in the service road may be towed.
Should the Botanical Gardens parking be full, please park in the veld opposite the main gate (across Cussonia road)
- Any cancellations will be communicated on the Facebook page and WhatsApp group. If it is raining, the event will still go ahead. If there is lightning, the start time can be postponed up to an hour, and the parkrun will start when it is safe to do so.
