Come learn two amazing arts weaved into one afternoon!
🌼 First, learn the art of natural dye with Bloodroot Herb Shop's herbalist & dyer, Corinne. You'll learn the full process on how to properly use plants to bundle dye a silk bandana. Corinne will share knowledge on fibers, mordants, and the tried-and-true plants to pair them with so you will have the confidence to repeat this project at home. If there's time, we'll also explore post-dye modifiers for even more color options!
💟 Next up, you'll learn all about the block printing world with Sepi Shokri of @nightwave.prints . Sepi will teach you about the tools and materials needed to hand carve your own block, then together we'll use our newly carved stamps to print onto our plant dyed bandanas. Your stamp(s) can then be replicated on any home projects!
All materials are provided, and you take home your creations at the end. Registration is required (link in bio) - limited space.
