Boston Harborfest 2026 runs July 2-4 and is one of the country's largest Fourth of July celebrations. Hundreds of family-friendly activities at Boston's most iconic landmarks. Annual kick-off ceremony at noon July 2 with cake cutting, roving reenactors, and USS Constitution staff. Music performances at Christopher Columbus Park, Downtown Crossing, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Chowderfest, live music, art markets, and reenactments. Harborfest Fireworks on July 2 at 9:15 PM launched from a barge at Long Wharf, visible from nearly all parts of the Inner Harbor. All performances free and open to the public.
