Born to Be Wild is turning one, and we would love to celebrate with you!

One year ago, Born to Be Wild began with a simple ambition: to make pregnancy, birth and postpartum support easier to find, more human and more connected.

Since then, the project has grown thanks to an incredible community of practitioners, mothers, families and friends who have supported me, trusted me and helped us bring this vision to life. The Born to Be Wild website is now live, featuring Portugal’s first directory dedicated to perinatal practitioners and making it easier for families to find the right support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

The podcast has also launched, with a first season of 14 episodes featuring honest conversations, expert insights and real-life experiences around birth experiences in Portugal and the perinatal journey.

To mark this first chapter, Irene (my amazing podcast co-host) and I are gathering for a relaxed summer celebration in the beautiful Tapada das Necessidades.

Come and join us for an afternoon picnic with drinks, snacks, music and a few surprises. It will be a chance to meet the community, reconnect with familiar faces and celebrate everything we have built together so far.

Partners, children and friends are very welcome. Bring a picnic blanket and the food you would like to share, and come celebrate with us !
