About this Event
Few ingredients inspire devotion quite like butter, and few buttermakers are as revered as Jean-Yves Bordier of Brittany.
On March 25, nearly 50 pounds of Bordier butter will land at Wedgewood— one of the most sought-after and hard-to-find butters in the world. Hand-churned on the French coast, Bordier butter is cultured, salted, and worked by hand using traditional wooden churns and a distinctive paddle-working technique that gives it its remarkable texture.
For two nights only, Wedgewood Cheese Bar turns into a butter bar.
Join Michelle Webb, co-founder and owner of Wedgewood Cheese Bar, and founder of Cultured & Salted, for an intimate guided tasting of four Bordier butters, rarely offered side by side. Your tasting includes thoughtful pairings and wines selected to highlight what makes these extraordinary butters so special.
Guests will also have first access to our limited retail supply of Bordier butter arriving that week.
14 seats only | $50 per guest
A rare opportunity to taste one of the world’s most extraordinary butters — the way it’s meant to be experienced.
