Borderless Saturdays is going down throughout the summer at Yabangee Base, bringing together multiple international groups for an evening that blends social connection with nightlife. Held every Saturday, the series offers a welcoming space where newcomers, long-time residents, and locals alike can meet, expand their networks, and discover new communities before the night transitions into DJs and dancing.
The evening begins with opportunities to connect through conversation, cultural exchange, icebreaker activities, games, and community-led socials, creating an environment where meeting new people comes naturally. As the night progresses, the focus shifts to the dance floor, with DJs providing the soundtrack late into the night.

Yabangee Base is the home of Yabangee, an independent community platform that has spent over a decade helping people connect in İstanbul. Designed as an affordable, welcoming space, it hosts everything from pub quizzes and live music to language exchanges, workshops, board game nights, and community gatherings. Whether you're new to the city, a long-time resident, Turkish or international, Yabangee Base exists to make meeting people feel a little easier.
Event Rules
This event is open to participants aged 18 and over.
Gender balance is enforced.
Entry is at the discretion of the venue. The door staff's decision is final.
No outside food or drinks, sharp objects, or flammable items are permitted inside the event area.
By attending, participants consent to being photographed and filmed during the event.
Professional video or photography equipment is not permitted without prior written consent from the organizers.
Event organizers and venue staff reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual if deemed necessary.
Reservations via eventbrite are not complete reservations. While a reservation with us holds your place, many of our events take place at ticketed venues and require an additional step to complete the reservation.
