Boozy Book Fair: Bookish BINGO with Bestselling Author Becca Grischow

Opening with a fifteen minute in-conversation style introduction to 2x USA Today Bestselling Author Becca Grischow facilitated by Laura Skaar, long-time Galena regular and the inspiration behind Becca's most recent novel, join us for a twist on a game of BINGO curated so attendees learn more about Becca's author journey and her latest book (set partially in Galena!), For the Bride. Winners will be treated to a variety of bookish merch!

Becca Grischow is a USA Today Bestselling author of queer midwestern romance and the ghostwriter behind over two dozen novels and memoirs, many of which are bestsellers. Becca and her work have been featured by NPR, Entertainment Weekly, Cosmopolitan, Insider, and Autostraddle, among other publications. She lives in Chicago with her spouse and their very opinionated dog.

Laura Skaar is an attorney, avid sapphic romance reader, and personal acquaintance of USA Today bestselling author Becca Grischow. She aspires to one day be elected president of the official (but yet to be established) Becca Grischow Literary Fan Club. 

Galena LitFest is the thirteenth annual literary festival organized and funded by the Galena Public Library with support from the Friends of the Galena Public Library and in partnership with Miss Kitty’s Grape Escape and Fritz & Frites Bistro. Events will take place throughout January 2027 in-person and virtually.
